A graduate of Assumption College and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Devon became a physician assistant because of her love of science and desire to connect with people. “The thing I love the most about working as a physician assistant is that it allows me to combine my interests in science and people together, which I find very rewarding,” she explains.
After beginning her career, Devon quickly became interested in pediatric care. “I love working in pediatrics because it is never the same thing twice,” she explains. “Every stage of life from birth to adulthood is unique and I have enjoyed working with patients from newborns to young adults. I love having the opportunity to make a positive impact on a child’s life that could potentially help build a foundation for a healthier future.”
Devon is dedicated to working closely with patients and their family members to make the right decisions on their health. “Every decision that I make in regards to a patient is a shared decision between the patient, parent, and myself,” she explains. “I believe that the best medicine only works if everybody is on board and on the same page in regards to their health.”
When she is not busy with patients Devon enjoys watching football and hockey as well as playing with her two French bulldogs. She also enjoys participating in a softball league throughout the summer months.
