A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and the UMass Worcester Graduate School of Nursing, Estela was influenced to join the medical field by her aunt, a pediatrician. She first worked as a research technician in Immunology, but wanted a more direct impact on patient care. “As a nurse practitioner I am focused on preventative care and empowering my patients through education so they can be in control of their own health,” she explains. Working at Reliant, Estela enjoys providing care for the entire family and building long-term relationships with her patients. “I really enjoy getting to know my patients and doing everything I can to help them reach their health goals.” In her free time Estela enjoys being with family and friends as well as cooking, traveling, exploring different cultures, learning different languages and painting.
