Last week Dr. Richard Rosiello, Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Reliant and Saint Vincent Hospital, was named a Healthcare Hero by Michael P. Hirsch, MD, the Medical Director of the City of Worcester Department of Public Health.
During the April 30th press briefing on the Covid-19 crisis, Dr. Hirsch pointed out all the great work that Dr. Rosiello has done with critically ill patients. “Richard is a brilliant pulmonologist who has designed all the protocols that Saint Vincent has been using to help with ventilator patients,” stated Dr. Hirsch. “He’s a specialist in using alterations of position to help with the ventilator process…and has been so successful in helping so many of these patients that were on death’s door come off the ventilators and leave the hospital. So thank you Richard!”
Reliant would like to thank to Dr. Rosiello and his staff for their incredible work helping to save lives of Covid-19 patients at Saint Vincent Hospital. You have made us all very proud!
