Caroline became an advanced practitioner so she could so she could support children and youth in their social, emotional, and academic development.
“I wanted to increase access to high quality and compassionate mental health care as well as increase people’s access to preventative emotional and behavioral health services,” she explains. “With my physician colleagues, I aim to promote equitable access to health and mental health support, ensuring that all our patients can access their own resilience and thrive.”

Although Caroline has learned that navigating the mental health system with patients isn’t always easy, she believes that a Behavioral Health provider working in primary care can help patients find existing solutions and the support needed to keep moving forward despite the obstacles.
In her spare time Caroline enjoys gardening, baking and hikes with her family.
