Liz became a physical therapist because she loved the idea of using her skills to help others. “I loved the idea of being able to combine education, exercise, and manual work to help people recover and improve their physical function,” she explains. “It’s very rewarding to make a difference in people’s life and abilities.”
As a physical therapist at Reliant Liz strives to include her patients in key decisions about their overall goals, therapy, and modifications to their plan. Each day, she looks forward to the variety of patients she gets to work with and especially enjoys working with orthopedic patients, amputees, and those dealing with spinal issues. “I appreciate the ability to use my knowledge and experience to help educate our patients and work towards improving their quality of life,” she explains. “I also enjoy the continued learning experience that being a physical therapist provides for both my patients and myself.”
In her spare time Liz enjoys running, yoga, being outdoors, music and spending time with family and friends.
