Nicholas first worked at Reliant as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). While at Reliant, he decided to go back to school for his Master’s degree and become a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR).
Nicholas always played sports growing up, which sometimes caused him injuries. “When getting my injuries rehabbed I always found the anatomy of the human body interesting and the therapists that worked with me interesting too. They were fun and knowledgeable and that’s what got me interested in Occupational Therapy as a career.”
Nicholas is always patient-centered in his approach to therapy. “I always try to provide the best care I can to everyone so they can have the best outcome,” he explains. “I want to make sure they can enjoy their rehab experience and get back to the things they enjoy doing.”
In his practice at Reliant, Nicholas treats many different pediatric, orthopedic, neurological and cognitive conditions. “I like to be able to help people recover from an injury or provide ways that can be more functional and independent,” he explains. “Nothing is more rewarding than receiving people’s gratitude after helping them.”
When he is not busy with patients Nicholas enjoys hiking, golfing, working out, playing basketball and enjoying time with family and friends.
