Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a program that supports and treats people who struggle with a variety of mental health diagnoses and behaviors including:
DBT is recognized as the most effective treatment for suicidal thinking/behavior and self-harm behavior. DBT is ideal for individuals who have tried various treatments in the past and not experienced long term success.
Our intensive DBT program helps patients build skills to cope with intense surges of emotion and impulsive behaviors that interfere with one’s life.
There are four parts of the treatment program: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
All treatment is structured to stay focused on patient goals. When combined with other interventions including individual therapy, many patients see progress sooner than expected.
Our fully online DBT outpatient program makes it easier to get the help you need from the convenience and privacy of your own home. The one year-program is experienced via video sessions and online support. The program is open to non-Reliant Medical Group patients and includes:
Our DBT program is offered to non-Reliant patients for a fee.
Note, we do not bill any insurance companies for this program, even if Reliant is in network for the patient’s insurance. We also cannot provide bills or codes for patients to be reimbursed by their insurance companies.
