A graduate of Northeastern University, Jessica comes to the department of Urology with great experience in the field of nursing and a strong dedication to her patients. Starting as an RN, Jessica enjoyed teaching her patients how to prioritize their health in certain ways, but wanted to give more back to the community. “As an NP, I have found that I am able to provide more comprehensive care to my patients while continuing to help them along in their journey toward wellness,” she explains. Even as a nursing student, Jessica was very interested in Urology. “As an undergraduate, I was able to contribute towards initiatives to reduce catheter-associated urinary tract infections in inpatient settings.” As an NP, she still finds her Urology appointments to be very intriguing and rewarding. “I find that I am able to have an impact into my patients’ quality of life that few other specialties afford.” As a health care provider, Jessica finds it important to get to know her patients during appointments, in order to provide the best possible care. In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking with her dogs, gardening, cooking and doing home improvements.
