“I really enjoy the updates on people’s lives. It’s great to get to know your patients.”
Born in Shanghai, Dr. Jiang came to America at a young age. He always wanted a profession where he could help others and be a part of the community. After shadowing a podiatrist following his undergraduate education at Georgetown University, he knew that the field of podiatry was the best choice for him. He went on to attend the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated third in his class with magna cum laude honors, winning multiple accolades during his time there. He then completed his podiatric residency at Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut. He is a member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society, the Yale Surgical Society, and the Yale Foot and Ankle Society.
In his practice at Reliant, Dr. Jiang helps patients with wound care as well as forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgeries. “I would say those are my main interests,” he explains. “Providing care to diabetic patients is something that I enjoy doing and that I find very rewarding. You have to be very careful when managing a diabetes patient. It takes a lot of dedication from the patient as well as the provider to properly treat diabetic foot wounds.”
In addition to diabetic care, Dr. Jiang also helps patients with wart treatment, ingrown nails, plantar fasciitis, and corticosteroid injections. Dr. Jiang also has a lot of experience in the operating room where he performs surgeries for bunions, hammer toes, arthritic joints, trauma, flat feet, and high arch feet. Dr. Jiang also has experience performing joint implants for his podiatry patients.
Dr. Jiang says that the thing he enjoys the most each day is just talking and getting to know his patients. “I really enjoy the updates on people’s lives,” he explains. “It’s great to get to know your patients. I also love the team atmosphere at Reliant Medical Group. It’s great to have other podiatrists and caregivers to bounce ideas off of when you are treating a patient.”
When he is not assisting patients at Reliant Medical Group, Dr. Jiang enjoys playing music and participating in sports such as golf and pickleball.

Dr Kai Jain listened to me. I missed the bottom step on 10/25/23, heard a crack went to RM on Shrewsbury Street. I thought Dr. Patel was good, I thought he listened to me but apparently not. I explained to Drs. Patel and Jain that I had pain on my left ankle as well as about 3/4 way down on the lateral side of my left foot. No X-RAY was done of the left foot on 10/25/23. Dr Jain did an X-RAY on 11/1/23 called me back about 1pm that same day to say I had a 2.5-3mm 5th metatarsal fx. We explained everything to me with my options. ORIF done on 11/7/23

Dr. Jiang was so caring and compassionate and professional. He even made an insert for my shoe while I was there and scheduled a follow up appointment to make sure that the pain was being taken care of.

He told me I had to call my primary care doctor to get medication for a broken toe and I'm in a boot for 7 weeks. The tendons are also hurting. I thought doctors could give you medicine for broken bones!! Not too happy about that!!
