A graduate of Curry College and the University of Rhode Island, Colleen originally began her career as a Medical Assistant. She decided to continue her midwifery education to fulfill her desire to care for women during all phases of their lives – especially during pregnancy and birth. Colleen believes in encouraging family-centered care that helps empower women. She also is a strong believer in working closely with each patient so they can make informed medical decisions. In her work, Colleen is also an advocate of promoting pregnancy and birth as a normal, natural process. When she is not busy with patients Colleen enjoys traveling, visiting the Cape, going to the beach, boating, gardening and cooking.
