Kelly chose to work in OB/GYN when she became a physician assistant because she enjoyed both the medical knowledge and hands-on procedural aspect of the specialty. As an APC in OB/GYN, “I want to empower women to improve and maintain their physical, mental, emotional and sexual health,” she explains.

Kelly believes in providing care that encompasses all domains of a woman’s life. “I provide evidence-based care for women’s physical well-being by following appropriate screening guidelines and proper evaluation and treatment in obstetrics and gynecology,” she explains. “But I also enjoy getting to know my patients and learning about what they do for work, their hobbies and interests, how they cope with stress, and what they like to do for exercise.”

In her practice at Reliant, Kelly is a strong believer in providing complementary and integrative medicine, and showing patients that there are many ways to improve one’s health and be healthy. “I enjoy empowering women to take accountability for their health and well-being. Another special interest area for me is helping women through their prenatal and postnatal periods,” she explains.

When she is not busy with patients, Kelly enjoys cooking, reading and exercising, especially spin and yoga classes. She also enjoys vacationing in Maine with her family.
