I was very disappointed in this appointment. This was my first time meeting her, I often use NP or PA's and I really like working them, but on this occasion I felt she was busy typing and was not listening to me. I felt like she did not have any knowledge about the information I was sharing with her. I tried to give her lab tests which are not in my chart and she disregarded them. I asked her if I should get another test because my prescription had changed and she disregarded. She suggested a consult, I never hear back from her, after 2 weeks I followed up and she said I need a test (same test I suggested at my visit) but it was not a complete test for what I went in for and I have not heard back from the office since. There was not follow up on the other reason for my visit. Also no feedback. I feel like she really didn't know much about it. She was too busy typing rather than listening to what I had to say. (I almost asked her to stop typing and to listen to me) I had a cold which was not why I went in but I could not shake it and I had it for several weeks. My voice was raspy and my chest was full.
