A graduate of the University of New England, Morgan has extensive experience in the medical field, working in both the United States and countries abroad. She started her medical career as a pharmacy technician and has also worked in many other positions including as a medical scribe, a medical assistant, and as an RN in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Morgan became an advanced practitioner in 2023.

“While I loved being a nurse, becoming an advanced practitioner allowed me to use my education to its fullest extent,” she explains. “I originally thought that I would first work in a hospital setting after graduation. However, I chose to practice in primary care because it allows me to treat patients with complex backgrounds and build strong, enduring relationships with them. Plus, in this position I can give my patients a better understanding of their health and work together with them toward their overall goals.” Morgan is very passionate about providing culturally sensitive care and celebrating cultural differences that individualize healthcare needs and expectations. “Working in so many positions across the healthcare spectrum has given me a unique perspective of the ways in which a healthcare team works together to best support patients,” she explains.

In her work at Reliant, Morgan never forgets that everyone she treats is more than a patient – they are a family member, a parent, a daughter, a son, a friend, and a neighbor to someone. “What makes a patient unique is sometimes more important than the symptoms they share during a visit,” she explains. “Understanding who the person is, what makes them happy, and what obstacles and challenges they have in their everyday life is crucial to providing the right care. I love talking to my patients and getting their perspective on their life and health.”

In her spare time Morgan enjoys yoga classes, running, and training regularly at the Quinsigamond Rowing Club. In the winter months she often goes skiing and snowshoeing and enjoys reading a good book when she has the time.
