A graduate of the University of Utah, Sadie’s interest in medicine started when she was a teenager and worked as a certified nursing assistant. Later, she became a registered nurse and her passion for working in labor and delivery led her to continue her education and become a a dual Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse practitioner.
In her role at Reliant, Sadie enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan; before, during and after childbearing years. She also has a passion for reducing stigmas associated with sexual health. “As an advanced practitioner, I am eager to educate and empower women to confidentially take care of their bodies.”
It was Sadie’s own experience of becoming a mother that inspired her to become a labor and delivery nurse. “I wanted to advocate for women going through similar circumstances and help them get the experience they desired,” she explains. “There is nothing quite like helping a woman through birth. I think it’s beautiful and incredibly rewarding to help families grow. I love all types of childbirth but being able to help women achieve their desire for an unmedicated birth is by far my favorite. I am always blown away by how fierce and capable they prove themselves to be.”
When she is not busy with patients Sadie enjoys being outdoors and going hiking and camping with her husband, three boys, and two dogs. She also loves reading, playing the piano, and getting competitive with board games.
