Overall Patient Rating
4.8 out of 5 stars - 95 total ratingsDanielle started her career as a Patient Care Technician and later became a registered nurse. She chose to become an advanced practitioner because she wanted to be more involved in patient care. “I always loved trying to figure out what exactly is going on when a patient needs care,” she explains. “Although I loved being a nurse, I enjoy the added responsibility that being an advanced practitioner give me. Patient care is often a puzzle, and I love figuring it out.”
Danielle loves the variety of working in primary care. “I love seeing different patients and medical scenarios and trying to figure out what is happening,” she explains. “Primary care is really the backbone of healthcare, and good preventative healthcare can really make a difference for patients and help people live longer and healthier lives.”
When she is with a patient, Danielle tries to actively recognize that they have different experiences that have made them who they are. “I try to see what their concerns are from their point of view. I think this helps me get to know the patients I take care of and allows me to provide more appropriate care for them.”
In her spare time Danielle enjoys running and training for marathons. She also has a big interest in beekeeping, gardening, hiking, biking and anything outside with her dog.
