At the Heart and Stroke Ball held on Saturday, April 2nd in Worcester, Chair of Medical Specialties Dr. Daniel Carlucci accepted one of the American Heart Association’s highest honors, the Heart of Gold Award, for his outstanding work contributing to the heart health of people in Central Massachusetts. Known for his dedication to helping patients make healthy lifestyle changes, Dr. Carlucci received his award in the category of Cardiology Medical Professional. A cardiologist at Reliant since 2015, Dr. Carlucci practices preventative, invasive and non-invasive cardiology.
Each year the Heart of Gold award is given to healthcare professionals who make substantial contributions to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s goal of reducing disability and death due to heart disease and stroke. After hearing of Dr. Carlucci receiving the award, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Thad Schilling said, “Your dedication to improving the health and well-being of the communities of Central Massachusetts is inspiring. You’re a shining example of Reliant’s clinical excellence. You’ve done us all proud!”
