Mike Callahan Named Captain Reliant by the United Way Committee

For the past several weeks, the United Way Committee here at Reliant Medical Group has been asking employees to submit their nominations for “Captain Reliant.”  Today, we honored Mike Callahan, Practice Manager in Auburn, for this distinction. Here are the excerpts from the peer nominations the United Way Committee received for Mike: Mike and his wife started Holiday with Hearts 20 years ago and have provided close to 600 tons of fresh produce to communities across Central MA. 100% of the monetary donations recieved go towards the purchase of food, all of the coordination is led by Mike and many volunteers. For the past 15 years he has coordinated an Easter egg hunt and picnic for the town of Sutton. Approximately 1500 people attend and 6,000 eggs are put out for the kids. He has coordinated and built, with the help of students he recruited from Blackstone Valley, a large ramp and deck for the Manchaug Library to make it handicap accessible. For the past 10 years he has assisted the Waters Farm set up for their historic Farm Day Events.

Congrats Mike!  You deserve it!
