Paying Your Copay Online With MyChart

Jul 20, 2017 / Highlights

We now have the option for our patients to pay their copays online! To do this you must be signed up for MyChart. If you are not yet registered for MyChart, click here to request an activation code.

Once you are logged in to MyChart, you will be able to view the copay due on any scheduled appointment.

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards
  • We do NOT accept debit cards

Once you have paid your copay via MyChart, you will receive a notice that the payment is authorized, but your credit card will not be charged until check-in on the day of your appointment. Check-in will be available as usual in the office or at the new Welcome Kiosk in some locations. At check-in, you will be asked if you still want your copay charged to your credit card. At this point you have the opportunity to cancel the authorization if you no longer want you pay via your credit card.

Below is a screenshot of online copay:

If you have any questions about paying your copay through MyChart, please email support or call (774) 261-1292.

Hi Maranda, a patient may be billed for a copay if they do not have the funds at time of service.

Why can we no no longer send messages directly to our primary care physician from Mychart? I loved this convenience. I could always count on Dr. Murthy.

Hi Kenneth, you should still be able to use this feature. We will have MyChart Customer Service Support reach out to you. Thanks.

Where exactly in My Chart do I have the option to enter my credit card for co-pay via My Chart?
I have read the information sent in an email but could not find the directions in the information.

Hi Mary-Louise, you will see the “Pay by credit card” button for copays on the upcoming appointments page in MyChart.
